Great overview of the history of how mobile web got to where it is today. Completely agree that the iPhone changes the game (I hope for Apple's sake that it is also one of the devices that benefits from that change). Very interesting discussion of some interesting iPhone apps.

I liked the preseentation, especially the practical tips.
However, the beginning of the presentation was a bit long, so the end of the presentation gained speed to get through..
Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback Thomas. I agree, my pacing was a bit off and I really wish I had more time for the second half of the presentation. Given the number of entrepreneurs in the room that weren't familiar with mobile, I want to make sure they understood the fundamentals.

I hadn't planned on taking a full 30 minute break in the middle until I saw there was networking going on at a specific time right before starting, it kind of screwed up my timing for the second half.

All of my slides are online. If you have any questions about any of the material that I talked about or didn't have time to cover in detail, please feel free to email me (brian [at] flingmedia.com) or Twitter me (twitter.com/fling) with your questions, thoughts or input.

I'd be happy to provide whatever ongoing help that I can. And thanks a lot for coming to my talk!

Really great presentation. In the proces of making our website suitable for mobile this presentation was very useful. But Brian was a bit in a hurry (but I understand his explanation) so at the end it all went a bit too fast for me. In Europe we have a comic book hero called Lucky Luke. He is a famous cowboy, because "he shoots faster than his shadow". Brian is the new hero; he can talk faster than his shadow :-)). Thanks anyway, Brian!
