Highly Interactive Web Sites: Implementing Comet
This talk looks at why Comet is applicable to a growing set of web sites, why it is hard to implement from scratch, and the available solutions to make using it on any web site easy.
We will talk through the design patterns and implementation challenges along with an example of adding Comet to a Twitter clone. We’ll also look at the varied use-case that comet is being put to.
