This is a highly interactive hands-on workshop where you will have the opportunity to refine your own company’s message, learn more about how to pitch the people you need to impress, and have fun at the same time – the expert panel will help coach you to success and be judges at the end of the workshop, awarding prizes to some lucky participants.

8-12 Companies will be selected to officially participate. The selected companies will be assigned a pitch coach from the list above. After a general overview of the do’s and don’ts of pitching, the individual companies will go into a break out session with their assigned pitch coach to refine their pitch. Other attendees of the workshop will be invited to participate in the breakout sessions as well. The final hour of the workshop will be the companies presenting their revised pitch to the entire panel of experts who will critique and evaluate the new pitches. The companies with the top two scores will receive the following prizes:


1st Place – Marketing and PR services valued at $25,000 donated by The Conversation Group
2nd Place – VC Pitch Consulting and introductions to VC’s valued at $10,000 donated by Crossroads Ventures
Every participating company will receive 5 Premium Memberships to Linked-in valued at $100 each, donated by Linked-in
And EVERYONE attending the workshop will be invited to a VIP party Tuesday evening at a location to be announced at the workshop.

Hi, great session, thanks. For me it would be very useful to have a speed-pitching format part to the next session, like speed dating for entrepreneurs to get some quick feedback from a range of experienced investors.

 

Very interesting session, but it would probably be better if there were fewer panelists, but also included entrepreneurs with experiences dealing with angels and VCs.

This way discussion could also look at the other side and was more focused without trying to get everyone to say at least something. Later sometimes led to many people saying the same thing.
